We recently installed carpet tiles in a doctors surgery in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. The client selected a luxurious, hard wearing carpet tile that would cope with the heavy foot traffic of a busy doctor’s surgery.

The first rooms to be completed were the first floor offices. The next room was probably the most important, the treatment room. In there patients would often be treated for wounds and be providing samples for testing. The floor needed to be easily cleaned just in case there were any spillages during day to day use. There we fitted a strong vinyl floor covering that can be easily cleaned should there be any spillage.

The last areas to be completed were the communal visitor areas like the reception and the waiting room. Then it was the offices and doctors rooms where there would be less movement of people but it was still important to ensure that the carpet would be durable.

A Landlord in Nottingham wanted to refurbish one of his portfolio of properties he wanted to use his retained handyman to do the fitting but wanted a good quality carpet at an affordable price.

We sent a representative round with a variety of sample books to allow the landlord to decide what they wanted to use. They browsed a number of possibilities before settling on a bleach cleanable 100% polypropelene carpet. This easy care carpet is perfect for landlords & parents of young children. It has a nice warm feel to it, yet it can withstand heavy cleaning should it suffer any spilling or stains.

The carpet was delivered within two days of the order being placed allowing the landlord to turn around his house ready for the next occupants.

A customer got in contact with us as they were looking in to under floor heating systems as part of the renovation of their home. They had considered moving to a new home but they could not find a property in the area that suited their needs. Instead they decided to stay put and Improve their current home to make it more modern and efficient.

They decided to employ underfloor heating throughout the house and realised that they would need specialised help to make the most of the new system. The carpet and underlay should not be more than 2.5 Tog to ensure the best transfer of heat to the room. We stock a range of underlay to suit underfloor heating systems and are always available for consultation and advice.

The installation usually takes the same amount of time as putting down normal carpet and underlay although it may require more gripper & adhesive. As the location o the underfloor pipes is not always known and using traditional tacking methods could cause a pipe to burst.

A home owner contacted us to have carpet fitted in their house, we arranged to visit them at a convenient time. We brought a number of sample books to show them a comprehensive range of carpets for the different rooms. They had a long look at the books checking out the different weights, piles and material, before settling on the one perfect for their room.

Once they selected their carpet they asked if the carpet could be fitted on a Saturday? We were happy to accommodate their requirement for a weekend fitting calling round on Saturday afternoon. We were able to dispose of the customers old carpets.

A wheelchair bound home owner contacted us as they wanted to up date the look of their home. They asked us to bring samples suitable for bedrooms, living room and hallways. We helped them pick the type of carpet that suited their needs best and got the colour & pattern that they desired.

We arranged to move their furniture and uplift the old carpet and prepare the floor for the new carpets. To ensure that the carpet would be easily navigated and not lift under the wheels it had to be double stuck. The job was completed in an afternoon causing minimal disruption for the owners.

A Landlord from Nottingham contacted us, they needed one of their properties refurbished so it could be advertised and shown to potential new tenants. We met arranged to meet with the Landlord to see the property and provide them with a quote for supplying and fitting the carpet. Once the work and price had been agreed we arranged to complete the work by the specified date to ensure that they did not miss out on much needed rental income. The Landlord was able to increase the income from the property when the work had been completed as it provided a ‘like new’ look to the potential tenants.

Following the installation in the Training rooms at the RNIB College we returned to fit some safety flooring. In the main entrance area they required barrier matting that helps to remove unwanted moisture and particles from the footwear of staff, students and visitors which helps protect the rest of the flooring in the building.

In other communal areas we fitted some non-slip rubber flooring, which on top of the non-slip safety feature is extremely hard wearing. It was also installed on different types of floors that have different acoustics that allow the visually impaired staff and student visitors to navigate around the premises.

We recently installed the flooring in the living areas of the tallest building development in Wolverhampton. The new 25 storey development by Victoria Hall is state of the art student accommodation which is as luxurious as any student can expect including all mod cons and our well fitted carpeting.

The developer required the installation of flooring in two of the buildings comprising of 108 apartments with four or five bedrooms in each. We were required to work to strict deadlines, this allowed the developers complete other necessary works so the apartments can be leased for the new academic year.
